Float Like a Butterfly is an achievement/trophy that can be earned in Alan Wake.

Achievement Description

Pre-Achievement:

• "Perform a cinematic dodge".

Post-Achievement:

• "You avoided getting hit -- with style!"

Walkthrough

The way to obtain this achievement is to do a cinematic dodge when an enemy tries to attack you. To do this, press your "sprint" button plus whatever you use to move. This achievement is one of the easiest to obtain in the game and can be obtained literally at the start of the game.

Once you have done the cinematic dodge, you will earn the achievement.

Notes

• This achievement CANNOT be obtained in the tutorial, which is when you are learning how to do the cinematic dodges. The dodges can only be done when an object is close to hitting you or a Taken is about to attack.
